Overview
Torremolinos is one of the Costa del Sol’s original mass-tourism resorts, still one of its liveliest, with a long beach, a historic core (Pueblo Blanco) and a long-established, welcoming LGBT scene centred on La Nogalera.
Families & toddlers
The beach is long and well equipped with facilities, and the resort’s size means a huge range of family restaurants and entertainment along the front, similar in scale to Benidorm.
Couples, teens & nightlife
A big, varied nightlife scene, from La Nogalera’s bars to more mainstream beachfront spots — genuinely one of the livelier Costa del Sol resorts for evenings out, with plenty of quieter restaurant options too if wanted.
Seniors & accessibility
The seafront promenade is long and mostly flat, with the old town (Pueblo Blanco) offering a calmer, more traditional alternative a short walk back from the beach.
Best time to visit
Mild through winter, hot and busy in summer, in keeping with the Costa del Sol generally.
