Resort Guides › Greece › Corfu
Corfu’s main young-adult nightlife resort, at the island’s southern tip.
Overview
Kavos, at Corfu’s southern tip, is the island’s best-known resort for young-adult nightlife, with a long beach and a dense strip of bars geared squarely at that crowd, quite different in character from Corfu Town further north.
Families & toddlers
The beach itself is long and sandy, but this resort’s reputation and layout are built firmly around its nightlife strip rather than family facilities — families are generally better served by Corfu’s quieter northern and western resorts.
Couples, teens & nightlife
One of the most concentrated young-adult party strips in the Greek islands; not a natural fit for couples seeking a quiet evening, who would do better elsewhere on Corfu.
Seniors & accessibility
Not recommended for visitors wanting peace and quiet, given the resort’s nightlife-driven character.
Best time to visit
The nightlife season runs roughly June to September; the beach itself is pleasant May to October.
