Caleta de Fuste

A purpose-built family resort around a calm, marina-fronted bay.

Caleta de Fuste

Overview

Caleta de Fuste is a compact, purpose-built resort centred on a sheltered bay and marina, a short drive from the airport. It’s specifically known as one of Fuerteventura’s most family-friendly bases, thanks to its calm, shallow water.

Families & toddlers

The bay’s calm, shallow water is genuinely well suited to young children and nervous swimmers, and the resort has an aquarium (Oasis Wildlife) nearby plus a good range of family hotels with pool complexes right on the seafront.

Couples, teens & nightlife

This is a low-key, family-oriented resort rather than a nightlife destination — pleasant marina restaurants and bars, but an early, relaxed sort of evening rather than late bars.

Seniors & accessibility

Small, flat and easy to navigate, with the marina promenade making for an easy, level stroll — a comfortable, low-stress base for older visitors.

Best time to visit

Warm and dry year-round, and its proximity to the airport (a short transfer) makes it a practical choice for a shorter break.
