Ibiza’s longest beach, and home to some of its most famous superclubs.
Overview
Playa d’en Bossa is Ibiza’s longest beach, a short distance from Ibiza Town, and home to some of the island’s most famous clubs (including Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza), which run day-into-night beach-club parties through the summer season.
Families & toddlers
The beach itself is long and wide, and there are family-friendly stretches and hotels away from the club end — though this resort’s international reputation is overwhelmingly built around its nightlife and young-adult crowd, worth knowing before booking with young children.
Couples, teens & nightlife
One of the biggest nightlife destinations in the world for young adults — daytime pool parties, beach clubs and some of Ibiza’s headline clubs are all here, making it a genuine bucket-list resort for that crowd.
Seniors & accessibility
Not a natural fit for visitors after peace and quiet; Santa Eulalia, a short drive away, offers a much calmer alternative on the same island.
Best time to visit
The club and beach-party season runs roughly May/June to September/October, in step with Ibiza’s main clubs’ opening dates.
